Nano Battle Report, Day Five. \u00a0Behind on word count, though not insurmountably so. \u00a0Have only been caught up on one day so far. \u00a0Never fear though, I shall intrepidly plow my way through this.<\/p>\n
First, a reflection. \u00a0Last year, I planned a whole month before Nano. \u00a0I made an outline. \u00a0A good<\/em> outline. \u00a0One that I was quite pleased with. \u00a0And when I started writing, I followed said outline. \u00a0It took me exactly where I needed to be: 30 days, a beginning, middle, and end, and 50,006 words. \u00a0The plan and outline strategy worked so well that I decided to do something completely different.<\/p>\n Different is going through some growing pains. \u00a0My story this year isn’t as focused as last year. \u00a0In fact, lots of it are quite rambling and stream of conscious. \u00a0I have several different stories going on at once, a man living a string of fantasies that may reflect real life, or they may become real life, or they may have nothing to do with real life. \u00a0I haven’t decided yet. \u00a0Mostly because the fantasies are much easier to write then the real life bits.<\/p>\n Next year, remind me to outline.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Nano Battle Report, Day Five. \u00a0Behind on word count, though not insurmountably so. \u00a0Have only been caught up on one day so far. \u00a0Never fear though, I shall intrepidly plow my way through this.
